The Team

We are in the people business; it is our people – our Consultants – that make Cornucopia a success. It is for that reason that we hire exceptional people for our teams. It is through their professionalism that we are able to build longstanding business relationships with our clients. All our consultants go through an extensive training system and become specialist in their particular business areas allowing them to really understand the needs of our clients and deliver an exceptional level of service.

The Director

Janek Formella formed Cornucopia in 2006

Further to graduating in Business IT Janek applied his accademic grounding by following the commercial route, initially selling enterprise IT solutions to the corporate world before succumbing to the inevitable and entering the family trade of recruitment. With a family history of over 30 years running successful recruitment businesses throughout the UK, Janek eventually followed the natural path into the IT recruitment industry. Starting out with one of the UK’s largest IT recruitment consultancies as a Senior Contracts Consultant, then Team Leader. After the invaluable training, industry grounding and no small measure of success Janek achieved through becoming a leading consultant in such a prestigious environment, his entrepreneurial streak led him to form Cornucopia IT Resourcing.

Janek formed Cornucopia with the clear intention of building a successful business in a busy market through constantly striving to deliver the highest possible service to both clients and candidates alike. Janek is acutely aware that the success of Cornucopia is dependant on its people which is why Cornucopia actively recruits the highest calibre of consultant.

The other side to Janek……

In his personal life Janek enjoys travel (though mostly limited to European city breaks now rather than 15 month backpacking tours!), football - where he experiences all the joy and pain of his Tottenham Hotspur season ticket and Reiki, where Janek has achieved level I & II certification.
